Bruker’s Cutting-Edge Solutions for Molecular Insight

Bruker continues to lead the way in spatial biology, empowering researchers to explore biological complexity in unprecedented detail. Our technological innovations enable scientists to understand not just the composition but also the precise spatial arrangement of molecular interactions, providing invaluable insights that accelerate scientific discovery and therapeutic advancements. By providing a portfolio of instruments designed expressly to address specific spatial needs, Bruker enable customers to interrogate their unique spatial questions analyzing DNA, RNA, and protein across a spectrum of resolution, plex, and throughput.

Bruker’s CosMx® Spatial Molecular Imager (SMI) platform enables researchers to examine the expression of thousands of RNA transcripts with single cell resolution. Launching in 2025, the Whole Transcriptome Assay (WTX) on CosMx will allow researchers for the very first time to interrogate the entire transcriptome, spanning approximately 19,000 genes, in every individual cell in their sample, while maintaining the spatial relationships of these cells. Using WTX on CosMx, researchers have an unprecedented window into biology, with the ability to map entire pathways directly onto their samples and make groundbreaking discoveries of markers never previously associated with their research questions.

The CellScape platform for precise spatial proteomics represents the highest fidelity multiplexed proteomics imaging instrument ever conceived. Combining best-in-class imaging resolution with a dynamic range orders of magnitude above any other spatial imager on the market, the CellScape provides truly differentiated quantitative performance allowing the precise subcellular imaging of the entire continuum of protein expression – from the most abundant proteins to the extremely low expressors. The CellScape platform relies on the Enhanced Photobleaching in Cyclic Immunofluorescence (EpicIF) technology, enabling a simple, robust chemistry utilizing primary antibodies, directly labelled with nearly any fluorophore. The EpicIF workflow is extremely gentle, enabling the multiplexing of 100 markers and beyond while maintaining tissue integrity.

The GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) is a highly multiplexed powerhouse for discovery multiomics. Combining whole transcriptome and highly multiplexed protein spatial profiling, researchers are empowered to view biology at incredible scale. Launching this summer, the highest spatial protein plex on the market (>570 plex) will be expanded to an unprecedented >1200 proteins. For the first time, researchers will be enabled to spatially profile the entire transcriptome and >1200 proteins on the same slide.

Lastly, Bruker has developed the PaintScape platform for direct visualization of the 3D genome. Launching in 2025, the PaintScape represents an entirely new class of spatial platform. Leveraging unique jebFISH™ technology, PaintScape enables researchers to perform multiplexed, direct visualization of genome architecture and chromosomal structure in individual single cells with ultra-high spatial resolution. By providing a detailed view of the 3D genome, PaintScape empowers researchers to understand how genome structural variations impact gene expression and their implication in the mechanisms of disease.

Bruker’s comprehensive spatial biology portfolio is redefining how researchers explore the intricacies of life at the molecular level. From transcriptomics and proteomics to 3D genome architecture, our platforms—CosMx, CellScape, GeoMx, and PaintScape—are uniquely engineered to deliver high-resolution, high-plex, and high-throughput insights that were once unimaginable. By enabling scientists to visualize and quantify molecular interactions in their true spatial context, Bruker empowers groundbreaking discoveries that will shape the future of biology, work in oncology, neurobiology,, and precision medicine. As we continue to push the boundaries of spatial biology, Bruker remains committed to supporting the scientific community in unlocking the full complexity of life.
